Welcome to Grinta Marine & Yacht Design

We are a team of passionate engineers, naval architects and boat builders specialising from conceptual sketches of complete boat designs and detailed construction plans to composite boat building.

With a strong background in refits and construction of high-performance racing yachts such as Imoca 60, Ultime, Day sailers and IRC Yachts; we’re deeply connected to the ocean racing. Cruising sailing and motor yachts is another strong branch of our experience.

Team

Edouard Cornudet

Edouard is a Naval Architect and the design manager of the office with previous experience in cruising yachts with Beneteau shipyards, in high performance yachts and ultime trimarans with Multiplast, several cruising sailing yachts designs with German Frers and a couple of IMOCA under his belt. His passion for sailing maintains him always on water to either participate in regattas or cruising voyages.

Federico García

Federico, transitioning from sailing Optimist boats to Olympic categories, has consistently embodied a commitment to high performance in his DNA. With a background as an electro-mechanical technician and a degree in naval architecture, he has been actively engaged in IMOCA refit projects and has made valuable contributions to endeavors involving composite rigging.

Lautaro Grimoldi

Lautaro gained most of his experience in Argentina working for motor yachts shipyards. His experience lends him to be construction manager and interact with several motor yachts design. He enjoys sailing much as building yachts. Efficient and with a versatility to resolve problems he proves his ability to manage high-quality cruising projects.

Guillermo Caorsi

Guillermo has successfully led and managed numerous industrial projects involving major global players in the maritime industry. In recent years, he has worked independently for renowned shipyards and naval architecture firms. During this time, he has participated in the design of sailing and cruise ships worldwide, the construction of dozens of motor yachts, and the design and manufacture of specialized parts and systems for the motor yacht industry.
